BoConcept New York, the purveyor of affordable, modern design furniture, has been selected to furnish and decorate the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week IMG Fashion Suite at the Lincoln Center.
Niki and Shaokao Cheng, Owners of BoConcept New York, are extremely honored to design a chic, comfortable and functional space to be enjoyed by celebrities, fashion icons, editors and executives. The lounge is inspired by clean lines of Scandinavian sensibility and enhanced with touch of red to invoke a sexy and glamorous atmosphere. “The fun and sexy environment will allow guests to catch their breath from the glitz and glamour of fashion week,” says Niki.
Guests who visit the IMG Fashion Suite will have an opportunity to relax between shows, sip cocktails and view footage from the runway. The space will feature pieces from the 2011 collection including the very relaxing and customizable Mezzo sofa in white leather; the extendable Occa dining table with red Mariposa delight dining chairs; and the new compact Volani sideboard. A few selected accessories from the 2011 collection will pull the space together. The look can be easily re-created in anyone’s home with their personal touch at a price you will love,” says Shaokao
In addition to the IMG Fashion Suite, BoConcept will also furnish two public seating areas with BoConcept’s iconic Imola and Rock chairs. One Imola chair will be set aside for Celebrities to sign and later to be donated for auction to the prestigious scholarship program at Spelman College, which will help talented young women complete their higher education and thrive in this demanding global economy.
