The day the clock kits arrived, we had this new clock hands set. Some of these we use now on our clocks, when it goes with the design of the clock. See our clocks here.

Raw: Braided or Twisted Seagrass Rope

twisted or braided seagrass

The braided seagrass rope. Used mainly to wrap some joints, or for trimmings for some home decor, a substitute for ababca rope when strength is not that needed, and for indoor use. In the future, we’d like to have more items made mainly of seagrass ropes like this natural materials vase. In the mean time, it is what it is now, a raw material just chillin out, waiting to be used extensively.

Some of the native home decor like this birdie and this fruit home accents we posted are made of this same material, the seagrass.

Raw: Round Wood Board, Before Its Time as Face Of The Clock

these are not sangkalan, on the second thought...

These are the acacia rounded wood boards before being made into a clock we call twic-tac. By the way, we have pending orders for these twic-tac clocks and guess what’s causing the delay of producing this unique native clocks? The little branches or twigs! Of all things, finding the right dry twigs and beautiful “branched-out” twigs is harder than we thought. We gotta run to the “twiggery.”
