Picture Picture

A work-song during products shoots.

A song by Tanya Markova.

The melody. The play of words. The quirkiness. And it doesn’t hurt that they got creative-fun-cool video for the song.

Listening to the recorded track is way better than hearing this Picture Picture sung live by TM. If live, don’t expect this same cool harmonious sound, it gets a little rough. The second voice or falsetto is a little over the lead vocals when live. He/she (sya si Iwa Motors) can’t control the pitch or loudness or whatever music term they use. The studio technicians can.

When tired doing photoshoot, just listen to this line from the song…

“Si Mang Roger ako’y kinalabit, Ang sabi’y “Halika na, balot muna bago ka mag-Konika”

The Divider Hinge On This

bisagra

These are hinges we used on the dividers. This is stock photo of hinges. Somehow, somewhere, some-when, one kid in prep school shall have an assignment pertaining to hinges and he may need a photo. Well here it is Kid. Take it if you’ll use it for school. For commercial use, you have to ask first. Good luck on your project.

A hinge is a type of bearing that connects two solid objects, typically allowing only a limited angle of rotation between them. Two objects connected by an ideal hinge rotate relative to each other about a fixed axis of rotation. Hinges may be made of flexible material or of moving components. <via>

“FOTO” table + glass + large photo print = Elegant Chess Table

Have I told you lately that we have this coffee table that we fondly call “FOTO Table?” Ah yes I did.

Here’s the post: “FOTO” Coffee Table - Center Table

And in that post, I promised I’ll soon post a demo of how it’s used as a “photo-table.” Well, the good Lord blessed us today, despite the problem and city chaos brought by Ondoy, we were still able to get the copy of the large (20 x 24) print via KODAK Makati Philippines. BTW, the chess graphic layout was made in-house(of leoque).

The photo-print out is the graphics we made, a chessboard print. Put this on top of the FOTO Table, then the glass top and you’ll have a little something like this…

This can be used for actual chess game play. And we happen to have chess pieces too.

Nice eh? What’s even better, if you happen to own this photo coffee table, you can virtually change your living room center piece ever so often. Just get some nice prints, lovely pattern from the internet, or even your own pictures underneath the glass.

I know what you’re thinking, you want to buy the foto table and have a scrabble printout? That’s nice.

Sinala na Bandila

This photo, titled “FREE AS A BIRD,” won a mini photo contest run by our photography mentor. I attended a 3 day seminar then got to be in this/our mini “alumni” social site group. Props used are flag I bought at a Roxas Blvd  stoplight intersection (during the June 12th Philippine Independence Day) and the wooden birds are from here. The theme of the contest is DIY filter.

Using day-to-day home items as filters. No commercial filter is allowed. I used a plastic cup with a hole as a filter. I earned a remote shutter FTW. The photo below also got good number of votes, same contest.

I’d like to thank our teacher for running the show & the peeps who voted for my entries. I thank my payrents too. =)

Seriously, thank-u-2-God.

The unfiltered photo of the flag here.
