Center Table With Hemp Sack Highlight

center-table-hemp-sack center-table-hemp-sack-2

This is a quick follow-up post on how to transform the foto-table with simple quick pics, err, fix.

Shown above, we used a 20 inches x 24 inches hemp sack as the “topping” and it turned the coffee table to a two-tone (wenge-light brown) living room center piece.

“FOTO” table + glass + large photo print = Elegant Chess Table

Have I told you lately that we have this coffee table that we fondly call “FOTO Table?” Ah yes I did.

Here’s the post: “FOTO” Coffee Table - Center Table

And in that post, I promised I’ll soon post a demo of how it’s used as a “photo-table.” Well, the good Lord blessed us today, despite the problem and city chaos brought by Ondoy, we were still able to get the copy of the large (20 x 24) print via KODAK Makati Philippines. BTW, the chess graphic layout was made in-house(of leoque).

The photo-print out is the graphics we made, a chessboard print. Put this on top of the FOTO Table, then the glass top and you’ll have a little something like this…

foto-table-chess-board-theme foto-table-chess-board-theme-2 foto-table-chess-board-theme-3 foto-table-chess-board-theme-4

This can be used for actual chess game play. And we happen to have chess pieces too.

Nice eh? What’s even better, if you happen to own this photo coffee table, you can virtually change your living room center piece ever so often. Just get some nice prints, lovely pattern from the internet, or even your own pictures underneath the glass.

I know what you’re thinking, you want to buy the foto table and have a scrabble printout? That’s nice.

Painter On White

Here’s the “davinci of doors” doing his sanding skilz.

Some of the furniture of House of Leoque, this painter did the paint job. Salute!

"Connick" Brown

img_9896

Connick Brown is the sister of… well, not Chris Brown, but the sister furniture of the… the CONNICK BLACK version.

The NEGATIVE thing is… check all photos of the “connick” console tables, all are below average. Reason is, these type of console tables are so heavy we can no longer set it up for better pics and appreciation. We photographed the connick in as-is and where-is mode.

The “connick” table console being is a barbell-heavy furniture, that’s a nice furniture trait. It being heavy means, you’ll get one dense, solid, sturdy, strong furniture… and that’s a POSITIVE!

Again, check the black one here.

All you need to do is drop by our furniture shop, open up the bigger chest and get the small narra chest and offer us a small pay please (roughly P1000.00). :-)

Bulol Tower Rack

towel-rack-tower

We now have black version of the bulol tower rack. A glimpse of the black version above (or left, depending on your browser).

Featuring the relax tribal, bulol, rice god woodworks right atop the tower. What’s nice with the dark black version is easily jives with different wall colors, room theme , bathroom tile colors, etc.

And to add, though it’s an ethnic - tribal furniture, this can work in both modern/contemporary home interior design -&- euro french-romantic home themes.

Above shown is pictured on reddish wall. I’ll bet my… bols, err, bulols, this black towel rack will look good on white, brown, white, cream, gray, green walls. Geez, all other colors on your kids’ color wheel will blend in well with this black towel rack.

We told you so, the featured white bowl is great way to load up and present you freshly picked shopped grapes & berries from the garden groceries. Serve your grapes this way, put on top your center table, enjoy your DVD movie while munching. Eat and watch movies with pleasure & style. Priceless.

Meet the Buddhas or Buddha A La Circus

meet-the-buddhas eraserheads-circus
Ladies & gentlemen, meet the Buddhas. Somehow, maybe you’ve seen this 4-head formation before. Prolly, the album cover of the Beatles’ albums, “Meet The Beatles” or the “Hard Days Night” album cover. Or maybe, the “Let it Be” album layout. Then I google some of Beatles album covers and found no match with the four Buddhas formation I photographed. It turns out, the Eraserheads’ Circus album cover is the closer match. Not exactly a perfect match but close. Ok, this is a filler blog post. And hey, a filler post deserves a filler song… while we are at it, forcing a post correlating the Eraserheads and the Buddha decor, let’s have this song now… “Fill Her” from the Eraserheads!

Elvis Figure Display New Photo: One for the Money, One for the Show

elvis-decor

We took another shot at Elvis.

I can say that this photo is… one for the money… & one for the show.

Meaning, a better pic might translate to you buying this home display (for the money) and two, an Elvis display is too good a subject for us to pass up shooting a better pic (for the show).

Grab this very limited Elvis before it leaves the building.

Many thanks to S-CRED.COM for lending as the Elvis T-shirt. We used the tee as our “staged” background.

See the light too, sungka board as tea light holder

sungka-as-tea-light-holder-3 sungka-as-tea-light-holder-2 sungka-as-tea-light-holder

Ok, we’ll admit, we didn’t wake up one morning and suddenly thought that… “hmmm, a sungka can make a good candle - tealight holder.” We actually saw the sungka-candle setting via printed home magazine. After seeing the set-up, I threw the magazine, got the sungka, got the candles, got the “guitar” match and took these shots. And as you can see, sungka as candle rack amazingly works. Whoever started this great idea, thanks & hat tip to you.

Imagine this on your sala side bench, on top of your living room center table, in your bedroom, etc.

Imagine this in spa room, dim the lighting and light a couple scented candles, rest and relax with the beauty & fragrance of this sungka-candle fusion.

Go on, close your eyes. Imagine.

A Blackhead That You'll Love

black-head

This could be the only blackhead that you’ll happily embrace in your life. The black thai buddha head that is. A sophisticated color & rich black finish. Stealthy black, an accent piece that “disappear” but will surely mesmerize once noticed by your guests. And black being a neutral color, this thai buddha figure will seamlessly blend with different colors (most likely white brown, red, gold & silver). See the Buddha head collection here.

Furniture Site Making is not for the Faint-Hearted

Just one little milestone here at Leoque website. Prior to this post, we have posted 499 juicylicious posts encompassing our furniture products, displays & accents, some fun photo shots of products, a bit of industry tips and news, interesting site links… and more.

And so, this is our 500th post!

With just a little over half a year, we get to be at half-kilo posts. On average, we are producing over 2 and half posts per day. I’m just lazy to dig, but I know, there are over 2000 copyrighted photos here at site, all photographed and processed by us. Over 400 pieces of distinct & different items-for-sale scattered all throughout the four hundred ninety nine posts.

But wait, there’s more…

The back-end part of doing this online furniture shop, that’s also a handful. Making sure that the plug-ins are working, the contact form, doing back-ups, the pages are showing up correctly, ads are all good and more.

I’ll tell you, making a shop-blog for furniture is not for the faint-hearted. Kids, don’t try this at home.

Marketers always have the statement… “we are the fastest growing network…,” “we are the fastest growing food chain…,” etc… well, we are positive, the House of Leoque furniture website, is one of the fastest growing weblogs-con-shop in the Philippines. And this site will only get bigger, bolder and better.

Here’s to another 500 posts!

First Batch Photo print, House of Leoque Volume 1

We’re able to finally print some of the photos we got. Printed primarily for offline viewing and second, for filing/archiving. After getting the copies and inserting them onto the album, I must say, the cost (print + album) is worth it.

The good ol’ photo print is still the best way to look at the imagery. Better than wide screen laptop, better the LCDs, better than any other hi-tech photo viewer gizmo out there. There’s something about looking & holding the photo paper. About a hundred pictures all in all, see tiled thumbnail below.

leoque-batch1

We uploaded the photos in this album for better online view: Leoque Collection Album: Volume 1

The same set of photos, we re-sent to photo printing company, this time, we ordered a coffee table - photobook version of the set for our own home copy. The album version is at the store, please have look at it so that the P1000 print cost is worth it. :-)

Meantime, see the actual album below…

Leoque's Copyright Watermark

Folks, our new photos’ watermark debuted in this post. We’ve replaced the old obtrusive and hard-to-read watermark a new one. See below…

copryright

Ok, it’s still obtrusive but at least, we got the all-important “copyright” word inserted  and a bit easier to read. Leoque is nostalgic right about now, let’s bid our farewell to the old watermark…
